What is vitamin B12?
Vitamin B12, cobalamin, is found naturally in meat, fish, and dairy products with the main source being offal. The body can store vitamin B12 in the liver but is not able to produce the vitamin on its own; rather, we have to ingest it through diet.
Vitamin B12 has several important functions in the body, including contributing to normal function of the brain and nervous system as well as the immune system. Vitamin B12 also contributes to cell division and blood formation, which, in the long run, counteracts fatigue and exhaustion.
