Properties of B12
B12 is also called cobalamin and is involved in a range of important functions in the body. Among other things, it contributes to normal blood formation and cell division, which can ultimately lead to reduced fatigue and exhaustion. B12 also promotes normal function of the brain, the nervous system, and the immune system. Healthwell B12 1000 is fortified with folic acid (vitamin B9), which is necessary for the formation of red blood cells and for the cells' metabolism.
Too much or too little B12
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that can only be stored in the body to some extent, making it difficult to over-consume. An excess of B12 is nothing to worry about, as it ends up in the urine. The same goes for folic acid, as this is also a water-soluble B vitamin. You're more likely to get too little B12 from food.
Since B12 is found almost exclusively in animal products, such as meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products, a supplement of B12 may be worth considering if you exclude these foods from your diet.
Take 1 capsule of Healthwell B12 1000 daily with food.
